WELDERSTAL
WS-10

The WELDERSTAL WS-10 is a ready-to-work cobot built on the bare Fairino FR10 cobot arm (10 kg payload, 1400 mm reach, ±0.05 mm repeatability, 6 axes). A versatile base for welding, packing and tending mid-size cells. The WS model adds the tool, equipment, Welderstal plugins, configuration, commissioning, training and support.

The WELDERSTAL WS-10 is a ready-to-work cobot built on the bare Fairino FR10 cobot arm. The FR10 arm on its own is a technical base with 10 kg payload, 1400 mm reach, ±0.05 mm repeatability and 6 axes. It is a versatile base for welding, packing and tending mid-size cells.

The bare FR10 arm vs the WS-10 cobot

The WS model adds to the arm: the working tool, cell equipment, Welderstal plugins, process configuration, safety assessment, commissioning, operator training and support after start-up.

Selection and deployment

We select the model after analysing the process - the part, tool, fixturing, cycle time and space at the cell. Start with a process description. See also ready-made cobot kits, all WS cobots, welding cobots and the WS-5 and WS-16 models.

What the WELDERSTAL WS-10 kit includes

You are not buying just the Fairino FR10 cobot arm. Our specialists analyse the cell and put together the complete WS cobot - from the tool and plugins to commissioning, training and support after start-up.

Technical base

The WELDERSTAL WS-10 cobot is built on the Fairino FR10 arm - 10 kg payload, 1400 mm reach.

What we select the WELDERSTAL WS-10 for

The most common tasks this cobot handles well. We confirm the final scope after a process analysis.

01

Welding medium-sized structures

MIG/MAG and TIG on frames, profiles and machine components. The long 1400 mm reach covers larger parts without constant repositioning.

02

Packing and placing

Handling and placing parts between stations once the gripper is matched to the product and the operator's pace.

03

Machine and cell tending

Loading and unloading parts in repeatable operations. We check access to the machine, fixturing and cycle time.

The WELDERSTAL WS-10 with Welderstal plugins

Plugins are the difference between a bare arm and a ready-made cell. The operator works with prepared points and parameters, and a changeover does not start with programming from scratch.

Choose accessories for the WELDERSTAL WS-10

We match equipment to the process: welding torch holders and torches, grippers, suction cups, fixtures, tables and positioners. Accessories are selected together with the model, not separately.

Kits the WELDERSTAL WS-10 works in

A cobot is an arm with equipment, ready to work. A kit goes a step further: it adds a process tool, an external axis or line equipment and becomes a complete cell.

We assess safety for the whole cell

The Fairino FR arm is a collaborative robot - it has joint sensors and force limiting. Whether the cell can work without guarding, however, depends on assessing the whole: tool, part, speed, forces and surroundings. We carry out this assessment before commissioning.

Robotisation tax relief (Poland)

Part of the cobot cost can be deducted

For companies taxed in Poland, buying and deploying a cobot may qualify for the robotisation tax relief. See the rules and what the deduction covers.

Each WS cobot is built on a different Fairino FR arm - they differ in payload and reach.

FAQ

Frequently asked questions

How does the WS-10 differ from the bare Fairino FR10 arm?
The FR10 is the cobot arm alone, with 10 kg payload and 1400 mm reach. The WS-10 is a Welderstal cobot built on that base: the FR10 arm, tool, equipment, plugins, configuration, commissioning, training and support. You can see the FR cobot arms on the Fairino models page.
What tasks is the WS-10 suitable for?
The WS-10 is a versatile base with 10 kg payload and 1400 mm reach - for MIG/MAG and TIG welding of medium-sized structures, packing, placing parts and cell tending. We select the specific scope after a process analysis.
What does the cost of a WS-10 deployment depend on?
The cost depends on the tool, gripper or torch, fixturing, positioner, safeguards, plugins, tests and the scope of training and support. Without knowing the process only an indicative range can be given - which is why we start with a description of the cell.
How do we select and deploy the WS-10?
We start with a description of the process and cell, check whether the task suits a cobot, select the tool and equipment, configure the cell with plugins, commission it and train the operators, and after start-up we agree the scope of support.
