WELDERSTAL
WS-30

The WELDERSTAL WS-30 is a ready-to-work cobot built on the bare Fairino FR30 cobot arm (30 kg payload, 1403 mm reach, ±0.1 mm repeatability, 6 axes). The strongest base in the family - for the heaviest tasks, large parts and heavy equipment. The WS model adds the tool, equipment, plugins, configuration, commissioning, training and support.

The WELDERSTAL WS-30 is a ready-to-work cobot built on the bare Fairino FR30 cobot arm. The FR30 arm on its own is a technical base with 30 kg payload, 1403 mm reach, ±0.1 mm repeatability and 6 axes. It is the strongest base in the family - for the heaviest tasks and heavy equipment.

The bare FR30 arm vs the WS-30 cobot

The WS model adds to the arm: the working tool, cell equipment, Welderstal plugins, process configuration, safety assessment, commissioning, operator training and support after start-up.

Selection and deployment

We select the model after analysing the process - the part, tool, fixturing, cycle time and space at the cell. Start with a process description. See also ready-made cobot kits, all WS cobots, welding cobots and the WS-20 and WS-16 models.

What the WELDERSTAL WS-30 kit includes

You are not buying just the Fairino FR30 cobot arm. Our specialists analyse the cell and put together the complete WS cobot - from the tool and plugins to commissioning, training and support after start-up.

Technical base

The WELDERSTAL WS-30 cobot is built on the Fairino FR30 arm - 30 kg payload, 1403 mm reach.

What we select the WELDERSTAL WS-30 for

The most common tasks this cobot handles well. We confirm the final scope after a process analysis.

01

The heaviest tools and equipment

30 kg payload lets you mount the heaviest torches with wire feeders and cooling systems, or heavy grippers, without losing stability.

02

Welding heavy structures

MIG/MAG and TIG on large, massive parts where high payload and rigid arm mounting are needed.

03

Handling large parts

Moving and handling heavy components after checking fixturing, operator access and cell safety requirements.

The WELDERSTAL WS-30 with Welderstal plugins

Plugins are the difference between a bare arm and a ready-made cell. The operator works with prepared points and parameters, and a changeover does not start with programming from scratch.

Choose accessories for the WELDERSTAL WS-30

We match equipment to the process: welding torch holders and torches, grippers, suction cups, fixtures, tables and positioners. Accessories are selected together with the model, not separately.

Kits the WELDERSTAL WS-30 works in

A cobot is an arm with equipment, ready to work. A kit goes a step further: it adds a process tool, an external axis or line equipment and becomes a complete cell.

We assess safety for the whole cell

The Fairino FR arm is a collaborative robot - it has joint sensors and force limiting. Whether the cell can work without guarding, however, depends on assessing the whole: tool, part, speed, forces and surroundings. We carry out this assessment before commissioning.

Part of the cobot cost can be deducted

For companies taxed in Poland, buying and deploying a cobot may qualify for the robotisation tax relief. See the rules and what the deduction covers.

Each WS cobot is built on a different Fairino FR arm - they differ in payload and reach.

FAQ

Frequently asked questions

How does the WS-30 differ from the bare Fairino FR30 arm?
The FR30 is the cobot arm alone, with 30 kg payload and 1403 mm reach. The WS-30 is a Welderstal cobot built on that base: the FR30 arm, tool, equipment, plugins, configuration, commissioning, training and support. You can see the FR cobot arms on the Fairino models page.
What tasks is the WS-30 suitable for?
The WS-30 is the strongest base in the family - for the heaviest tasks: welding heavy structures, mounting the heaviest torches and equipment, and handling large parts. We select the specific scope after analysing the process and fixturing.
Which welding processes does the WS-30 support?
As the base of a welding cell the WS-30 supports MIG/MAG and TIG, and its high payload allows even the heaviest torches with wire feeders to be mounted. We select the process and equipment for the specific part.
How do we select and deploy the WS-30?
We start with a description of the process, part and cell, select the tool and equipment, configure the cell with plugins, commission it and train the operators, and after start-up we agree the scope of support. With high masses we pay particular attention to fixturing and safety.
